My husband and I have relocated our "farm" on our own patch of land in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are so excited to be a part of a new community in Burke County, NC. We celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary in our new home. (Nov-2024)

Our original adopted rooster "Zeus" (our Rhode Island Red sweet boy) died due to an injury. He is buried on the property now. He is very missed by his hens and myself. I could always count on Zeus to be the attentive watcher of the flock.
